PLAYA CHOIR CAMP:
In addition to participating in the Choir, camping with the Choir a great way to experience Burning Man. Usually located in the 6 0’clock plaza- Playa Choir is a close knit group of passionate musicians and singers all working together to pull off the fucking most amazing performance in Black Rock City. We actively seek camp members as singers, musicians and greeters who are willing to work hard to create amazing art. We need folks for Build & Strike to come early to build the Playa Choir Dome and our camp infrastructure and to stay late to stow it all away for next year. Playa Choir is not a camp where you just “put in a few shifts”. We are a family and everyone in our camp is part of the project in some way. Camping at Playa Choir Camp is open to supporters of the Playa Choir Project. There are many ways to support the Choir project, and ALL residents of Playa Choir Camp must participate in some way in supporting the Choir, Camp, or Dome events.
The application is for you and all persons who will stay at your campsite. This survey has five parts: Your Party, Transportation, Campsite, Participation, and Camp Agreements.
Registration will be confirmed upon receipt of Camp Dues. It will close when the camp is full or on August 1st, whichever comes first.
Being part of the Choir is an amazing experience, but camping with the choir brings that experience to a new level. Beyond creating art, camping together lends itself to developing lasting relationships at a deeper level. Who knows, you might end up battling a campmate at the Thunder Dome or getting into Grampa’s Punch late at night around the Burn Barrel. Choir Camp is a non-drama, friendly, and inclusive environment that might be your next home.
Campsites
Playa Choir Camp offers a variety of camping choices from tent camping in the shade structure to RV parking on the Playa Choir grounds. Spaces fill up fast so don’t wait too long.

The Choir Courtyard is comprised of seven 10×20 steel carports (a Costco favorite) in a U-formation (doubled-up on one side), accommodating up to 28 campers. There is 600 square feet of shaded space, right up to the kitchen. These are Premium campsites and get reserved quickly.
We also have expanded our communal kitchen, and more sites available under sturdy and portable awnings, depending on your needs and budget.
Providing shaded campsites means less gear you have to bring!
Camp Dues
Camp Dues are inevitable and necessary. It’s just not possible to bring Choir Camp to the Playa without them. But they do represent your commitment to the project, and provide our Leadership Team with some peace of mind.
Dues are dependent on how many people are in your party, and how much space you need (your footprint), and where you want to be located. Choir Camp’s many amenities provide an opportunity to minimize how much stuff you need to bring, because we provide it for you! You’ll find our camp dues are quite reasonable, all things considered.
